November 27, 2012

Loy Krathong is one of the most spectacular festivals in the Land of Smiles. Thousands of krathongs, or floats made of banana leaves or bread resembling lotus flowers, are placed in rivers, lakes or streams as a way to honor the water gods and to bring good luck. Phuket’s rivers, lakes and beaches will be illuminated by the orange flicker of the lit candles on the krathongs and flocks of sky lanterns will be released into the heavens.

Loy Krathong is not to be missed. It is an amazing spectacle and an experience you will never forget. Our TEFL training center is just a couple minutes from the beach, so our November 14, 2012 advancedTEFL trainees will get to see it for themselves.
