July 16, 2012

So many people dream about working and living abroad. Understandably, not everyone has the time or the opportunity to experience being fully immersed in a new culture halfway around the world. But, our latest group of advancedTEFL trainees have taken the first step in their journey.

The July 16, 2012 session of our internationally-recognized advancedTEFL course kicked off Monday morning at 10am. Everyone had a chance to introduce themselves and an introduction to our teaching methodology followed. In four weeks, they will all have the tools and experience they need to teach English to anyone, anywhere.

For lunch, everyone made the quick walk over to the Red Peppers restaurant in the Aspery Hotel for an authentic Thai lunch. The food never seemed to end. Pineapple fried rice, spicy chicken coconut soup, pad thai with shrimp and crispy spring rolls crowded the table. By the time lunch was over, all of the food was gone.
