After you complete your TEFL course at TEFLPlus, you’ll have the option to work as a certified English teacher all over the world. So, where should you start looking? The choice is yours.

Finding a job in Thailand is the first choice for many. Some prefer the southern provinces of Phuket, Krabi or Phang Nga. Jobs at government schools, international schools, universities, hotels and other businesses are available year-round. For many, living next to the warm-water beaches is a dream come true.

There’s no shortage of excellent opportunities in larger cities such as Bangkok and Chiang Mai. With a population of over nine million people, Bangkok has something for everyone. Shopping, clubs, a great variety of international food — there’s no shortage of things to do in the nation’s capital. Often, the excellent public transportation system can get you around in a fraction of the time a taxi or tuk-tuk can.

If you prefer a slower pace, why not look into Chang Rai in the north, or one of the rural farm villages in the northeast. Experience a beautiful culture and way of life that is unique to this area. You can eat farm-fresh produce (even fresh strawberries!) and see beautiful flowers blossom in the cool season.

Of course, just because you earned your TEFL certificate in Thailand doesn’t mean that you have to work in Thailand. Many of our TEFL graduates have moved abroad to countries such as Japan, China, Brazil, and even England!

So, position yourself for your next career opportunity and sign up for one of our excellent TEFL teacher training programs in beautiful Phuket, Thailand.
